Our client planned to migrate an old and complex legacy product to a new platform, that had already several other products included. The legacy product had a good level of automation developed using Apache Jelly and HTMLUnit, which was not matching the automation strategy that was already applied for the new platform. That required the old automation framework and tests to be migrated as well.
The client project was a mediator of already existing identity, fraud and other decisioning standalone applications / services. The goal of the project was to allow clients to combine and chain all existing fraud prevention and analyzes tools in a flow that minimizes risk and loss.
The application deployment was panned to be containerized across multiple geographical regions covering local sensitive data regulations if available.
The client requirement was to facilitate the project continuous integration process including automated tests of the service. In addition to the created CI process a continuous delivery process should be implemented to automate the service production deployment.
